Linda Kercher: FISTD, AIDTA. - Principal & Founder

Linda has trained in all subjects and holds every major qualification available in the ISTD and IDTA. She lives, sleeps, breathes dance and personally takes pride in the standard of work produced at the school. Incredibly passionate about her work and ensuring every student has every opportunity to develop their talent.

KT Thomas : ISTD DDE, AIDTA, DipFE: School Director

KT was a Kercher student for 17 years and an Italia Conti Academy (Head Girl) and New York Film Academy graduate. KT has experience in Professional Theatre, TV and Film both in the UK and the USA. She is also the Founder of the MKC Theatre School (Formerly The Musical Kidz Company). She is a successful theatrical agent in TV, Theatre,Film, Modelling and Radio with her company TK Management which is linked to both schools and loves encouraging children that want to learn about performing arts. KT splits her time between New York City and the U.K. Performing and choreographing all over the world she loves to keep technique fresh and up to date for all students and loves coming back and working both individually and with the whole school to create exciting new work and performance pieces.

Peter Thomas: BSC (Hons) Mathematical Sciences & Certificate in Education: - School Accountant

Peter is currently Head of Maths at Italia Conti Academy of theatre arts, London. He is an experienced vocal coach and musical director. Last year he directed his 52nd full scale musical. He simply loves encouraging people to live and learn, be it Singing, Piano or even Maths.

Rachel Drury: ISTD DDE, AIDTA: - General Manager.  Modern, Tap, Disco, Street & Zumba Teacher 

Rachel trained at Margaret Howard Theatre College, gaining her teaching qualifications in Modern & Tap. She has performed and choreographed professionally, and has taught in schools across the area. A fully qualified Zumba instructor, she also teaches Freestyle, Hip-Hop and Street.

Inma Vicent - Perez : ISTD DDE : - Ballet & National Teacher & Costume Manager

nma has a wealthy background in ballet and is a former prima ballerina from Valencia , Spain. Inma studied under the fantastic eye of Rafael Martí, former director of the Ballet de Euskadi and who was a dancer at the Bolshoi Ballet Moscow. She worked her way up like so many ballerinas in this art form from the corps de ballet to prima ballerina. Inma has a love for pas de deux , ensemble work but loves giving her knowledge about ballet to the next generation. She has a great passion and knowledge of Flamenco and is looking forward to adding this alongside our National department over her coming years with us.

Johnny Schwerzmann : AISTD :Contemporary / Commercial & Adult Freestyle Teacher & Events Manager

Johnny has been a performer since a young age and has been teaching locally for over 8 years in the Chilterns area. Johnny appeared in a number of Harry Potter Films as well as having a successful TV and Theatre career. Johnny is trained in IDTA and recently became the 4th ISTD member to gain the new Street / Hip-Hop AISTD DFR qualification. Johnny is very excited about teaching the Contemporary and Boys Modern Classes and looks forward each week to being able to push his students by encouraging them to think outside the box with their dance vocabulary and technique in their lessons with him.

Harriet Stewart - BA (HONS) & DDI National

Harriet studied at the Kercher school of Dance from a young age following her mother who was also a past pupil. Always having a strong love for dance and theatre, Harriet studied all disciplines and worked up to her major exams in her subjects whilst here at the school and then once at University. Harriet went into the mainstream education system after gaining her BA (Hons) from Brighton University. Moved back to Aylesbury and rejoined the school in our sister school as Stage and Screen Teacher and Manager of MKC. More recently she has taken on more admin responsibilities here in the Kercher office side and has recently started her training to complete her DDE in National. Harriet also is part of "A Little Bit Country" which isa Country and Western duo which regularly now plays at Nashville and is very proud of their first album that was released last year.

Nancy Theobald - ISTD DDI / DDE MODERN & TAP, PRO PERFORMANCE & COVER TEACHER.

 Nancy trained at Barking College of Technology on the Performing Arts Course and at The Arts Educational Schools, London on the Musical Theatre Diploma course.
She has a strong musical theatre background and performed as both a singer and dancer in cabaret throughout the UK. Nancy currently teaches tap, modern and adult jazz fitness at Tring Park Associates. She has also taught drama at primary school level and taught tap, modern and ballet at Silhouette Dance School in Essex. In addition she is a qualified Fitsteps instructor.
Her backstage career has encompassed Phantom of the Opera, Rock of Ages, Wizard of Oz and Billy Elliot.  She currently works in the West End on both Dreamgirls and Wicked.

Kenton Brigden - BA (HONS) MUSIC

Trained at City University in London and Guildhall School of Music

Few dancing schools can boast they have a full time pianist for their ballet classes, well The Kercher School of Dance can. We are blessed with Kenton who plays week in and week out.

Kenton is a conductor, composer, pianist and organist who has been performing since he was 7. He has worked in many areas of the music industry and has played on BBC Radio numbers times. Kenton also attended City University in London to study music where he studied piano under the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Having completed his degree Kenton accepted a position as principle organist at St Mary's Church Aylesbury. When not playing Organ Kenton performs, teaches, records, composes, and practises concert repertoire. 
     Kenton has performed around Europe and Africa directing ensembles one of which was in tandem with the Royal Academy of Music workshopping performance and composition in Bosnia. He has been lucky enough to work with many world renowned concert pianists & organists including: Andrew Ball, Ian Pace, Richard Meyrick, Donald Mckenzie & Carlo Curly. Kenton has worked as a Music Director on numerous projects including, plays, musicals, operas and concerts. Kenton has also composed 2 entire musical settings for modernised versions of Shakespeare plays. 

He has also coached singers through auditions and exams for entry into stage schools like Mount view and Urdang. Passionate about teaching and improving musicianship Kenton has worked with all ages and abilities from ages 3-86. Teaching privately he believes that everyone has music inside of them and everyone has the ability to express it and feels its his job to bring it out. Kenton also enjoys conducting choral music and playing Balinese Gamelan (a music he discovered while at university.) 

Kenton has always supported the school and also works as MD for MKC Theatre School our sister company. He always works 110% taking a very active role and offering help and support to both the students and staff where possible. A wonderful guy who brightens up our studios and gives our ballet classes just that little bit extra!
